church services conducted and sponsored by the federation groups were mm gled with health and education pro grammes the group seemed unanimous that the greatest lack in tfie federation of agriculture was an educational programme both to spread the tre mendous benefits to the farmer and to the urban consumer press re porting was stressed so the public might be informed as to what the federation felt was important en ough to be warrant discussion and what was trivial the problem that new canadians might find our recreational ideas not to their lik ng was touched on it had been noticed that that while the federation fathers the farm forums the hospital ua tion and other groups of great ben efit to the rural people they tend to become separate and to lose their relation to the parent organization as they get on their feet effort should be made to keep the relation apparent educational committees were for med in twenty counties and spon sored leadership training courses for all
