those present who requested them refreshments were served after wards by the lodge ladies sudden heart attack rs james a mcclure dies one of georgetown s best known residents and one who had lived in town longer than any other per son mrs j a mcclure 87 died suddenly at her home on maple avenue last wednesday mrs mcclure succumbed to a sudden heart a tack which she suffered just after the supper hour the former margaret e corry she was the daughter of john cor ry and alice campbell and was born in the riouc near the present mcclure residence where mr and mrs charles hcyiderson live both her parents were members of pio neer district families and mrs cor ry helped to build st george s church her mother named maple avenue after the beautiful trees which she had helped to plant along the street she married james amott mc clure 61 years ago and they spent most of their married life in town while operating farm near mount pleasant except for a few years pent at lisgar station and hamil ton mr mcclure died in 1932 though mrs mcclure lied a quiet life and did not belong to many organizations she had a hap py faculty of making friends in all age groups close friends of many years were joined by young people of her grandsons circle in attend- in the funeral service saturday af ternoon in knox presbyterian church of which she was a mem ber she also belonged to the park circle ladies dies seriously injured in an auto ac cident on september 18th keith earl joyce 19 died in toronto general hospital on friday he was a passenger in a car which went out of control on a steep hill on the 4th line near limehouse and turned over most seriously injured of three occup ants his neck was broken and be had been partially paralyzed since the accident he had been trans ferred from guelph
