imperial division of the canadian legion the day being so warm and sunny almost summery was per fect for the parade and it was one of the biggest seen in georgetown in a long time representative of imperial sections from all over the province were present includ ing both dominion and provincial presidents as well as a representa tive of their central organization from ottawa the parade formed at the leg ion hall marching down the main street down mill to water and up guelph to the cenotaph where a short service was heltf with the laying of wreaths headed by len owen provincial president and other senior officials the roll call of those passed away m the local section was railed by charles parton the last post was played by bandsman lnndesborough of the lome scots band and the band led in playing the hymn abide with me the parade then proc eeded down main street past the municipal building where the sal ute was taken by president owen and other dignitaries on their return to the legion
