with a little help from iib and what a ball it was the grade nine class 1957 will remem ber this year as one of terror fun and excitement but what a great time we had enforcing the program arranged the poor things had to do everything from wearing green and yellow on thursday to draw ing their footprints down the hail for violations when the grade elevens of last year were asked by us how the work was they answered not too bad but watch your physics we may quote that as famous last words from now on the rest of the work hasnt been too bad tho give us time it will be piling up and the sign are well- spt in dean attractive surround- si they have combined histori cal interest along with the zoolo gical attractions we found their tie museum of fossils and exam- es of ancient rock formations found in the rockies fascinating thats a funny thing ab- l out the rockies from your first glimpse of them you cant help but wonder about how they were formed- the way the layers of rock are exposed shows plainly what ah enormous upheav al took place in the earths surface bending and molding and split ting the rocky crust while on one of our little mot or tours around banff we saw a ledge of rock which is an example of one of the oldest types in exis tence in the world many mil lions of years older than the sur rounding fckies it was jusl a low brownish ledge which looked as if it had been formed in layers that were now threatening to come ap art scientists were somewhat at a- loss to explain its existence there but eametotheeonclusi that in the vast holacaust that for med the mountain range one moun tain must have turned completely upside down and exposed the rock strata that would have normally been hidden deep in the earth milton teen dance foahirann tho top 5 from
