there never seems to be any set time but we wouldnt come too much after 103o if you expect to get in as we should imagine therell be a real crowd the year of 1957 has just about waned and before we find our selves too busy in the christmas rush tq mention it wed like to thank everyone who has helped make this column a reasonable- i accurate portrayal of branch 110 wed thank the many who have given us ideas for some of our items and also those who have at times been the butt of our kid ding occasionally we have seen fit to criticize and we may or may not have been right in our fc views however anything statodr has been done only for what we considered the welfare of the le- gion branch tf one thing we are certain that of the criticisms and jokes used there have been no bitterness or hard feelings either way it becomes our firm con vection that most members have the interest of the branch upper most in their mind may we thank the boys who pit ched in and helped so willingly at the blood donors clinic the fact that they helped make the job a very easy one particularly in un loading that truck and reloading it but by the way if occassional you hear denny wright gob col lier or andy murray tell about the little girl who managed to keep the ten of them busy carrying beds etc while she packed them away theyre not exaggerating it was the absolute truth crack of the evening says one of our member donors whatll they use mine for antifreeze just as a parting thought we might say that never in our time has there been a s much progress in the legion as in 1957 and this not only from a membership point but also in other ways the fel lowship has been very good there has been much less bickering than we can recall in other years and solid planning for the future has been made with the acquisition of the garage and liquor store prem ises we urge everyone to conti nue thb in the future the float was really a good one all those whp helped in this our first attempt are to be
