had operated a general store in tottenham since he retired from the mill a native of indiana he was the son or john and catharine huff man kcrcher he attended public and high school in peru indiana then entered the paper business as a callandcr operator at moo arch mills kalamazoo michigan he later joined provincial paper here was transferred to valley field quebec and returned toj georgetown whin the mill there burned down ovtr twenty years ago i mr and mrs kcrcher made their home at 26 queens sl vhen they lived here the house now occupied by the walter blehn family he was a member of the presbyterian church and an hori orary member of tottenham branch of the canadian legion mr kercher was an ardent hunter and fisherman he leaves his wife the former elizabeth costigan and a sister and
