important post is edgar ed ruggles of cobourg ontario mr ruggles was born at regina sask he was edu cated there and in saskatoon where he graduated from the uni versity of saskatchewan in 1935 in civil engineering he joined the birdarcher co ltd water treat ment and chemical engineers in western canada as field engineer and was district manager of that firm until 1946 he was transferred to montreal at that time as assistant general manager and moved to cobourg when that company moved its head offices to that town he became vice president and general mana ger in 1951 and president of the firm in 1958 mr ruggles is mar ried and has three sons he was a member of the mon treal rotary club and transferred to the cobourg club in 1951 in 1955 he was president of the club there mr ruggles gave a very inter- esting and illuminating addre and gave the members tips on how they could improve the eff i- ciency of their club he answered j many questions and gave the va- faaily gathers to
