evening december 8th when twcnt five ladies and gentlemen belonging to the south peel choral societ presented their annual christmas concert for the residents mr jerry salmers the leader of the choir not onlv perfor med his duties as leader in his us ual expert fashion but also acttd as hairman for the evening it was a special honour to we come to the manor brojeswar ro a native of calcutta india separate school for refreshments served by the catholic womens league of milton promptly at two o clock two chartered buses arrived at the manor for the res idents with them were two rep resentatives of oakville knights of columbus in the persons of mr roy white and mr jack marker i the buses driven by very carefurj drivers took the residents to rock wood and back upon arriving in milton again the buses stopped at holy rosary separate school where convtnir before refreshment tfire served hower the residents njovtd an interesting program i the lovely carol clona in excel i deo and four other carols were ung by a number of ladies be onging to ihe burnamthorpc ionic and school choir with their alentcd leader mrs fc feast con ducting and mrs a savage at the pnno the ladies of the choir vere
