horticultural societies branch of the ontario horticultural societies branch of the dept of agricul tore toronto mr glark will pre sent a travelogue on points of in tercst in europe and the far east other halton folk who have heard mr clark on previous occasions will agree that the jersey breeders and their ladies are in for a treat other highlights at this meeting will be addresses by the president of the canadian jersey cattle club in the person of hiltons own maurice c beaty and hume gns- dale also of the canadian jersey cattle club top ottawa official ralph k bennett head of the merchandising section of the mar koting service of the livestock livestock products division of the canada dcpt of agriculture otta wa ts to be the chief speaker al the annual meeting of the halton holstein breeders club at trafal gar on thursday january 15th mr bennett too is a much sought after speaker for important farm gatherings in all parts of canada president royle and his fellow of ficers are to be congratu aled on being able to secure this outstand ing authority on markets for can adian farm products market re quirements etc for a meeting in this county some of our short horn was also in attendance reported the sale price of guern aeys up 7800 from that of 1957 it was also announced that guern sey registrations were ip 14 per cent and transfers up 18 per cent for the first
