now that winter has passed on its way hockey slicks and skates are being replaced by plimsolls and footballs in preparation for the advent of the junior soccer season this year georgetown is very fortunate to obtain the ser vices of the two men who contn buted so much to the success of the brampton juniors last season the opening da of the season was a big success with 80 to 100 enthusiastic boys ranging from 9 to 16 ears of age registering and reporting for training and the coaches in attendance were reall kept bus it has been proposed that two learns shall represent georgetown in the oakville and district junior soccer league these will be comprised of first the ban tarns m the 13 to 16 age group and ihe moms in he 9 to 12 age group in addition there will be a local league competition formed for all boys if there are any boys aged 9 to 16 residing in either norval glen williams limehouse or stewarttown or georgetown who wish to register for soccer they should report to georgetown park at 10 o clock saturday morning any man who is interested in join ing with bert shepherd george dickson hans richter ken pnd dey in coaching these lads should also contact mr shepherd
