mc dougalls reached venice wiere they spent a number of days in this city of 115 islands and 160 canals beautiful pictures were taken of the famous sights of ven ice such as st marks square and basilica the palace of the doges and the bridge of sighs from venice they motored to verona the home of romeo and juliet and then to the italian and french riv lera two of the pleasure resorts visited here were mentone and monaco and from here they retur ned to switzerland after travel ling by mountain train to the sum mit of the juirgfrau and visiting lugano near the italian border they took a side trip to como in italy and to the castle of chillon famous in literature their eur opean tour ended here after a most cnjovable four week period the residents found the travelogue most attractive and interesting and would be glad to have the op portumty of seeing many more in the future their thanks go out mr macdougall for having made such an en oj able evening possible the church service in miss shaw is on the staff of the toronto office of the voice of tho andes radio broadcast in quito ecuador she has also been the soloist on the emmanuel bap tist church services broadcast over the
