hilcrest united church women on wednesday evening mar 28 in the church mrs cifford wrigglesworth the president welcomed the ladies to the meeting which was op ened with an easter poem the program was in charge of the sewing circle unit and was op ened with hymn 86 mrs boy wilson was in charge of the scripture reading matthew 27 verses 5766 and matthew 28 verses 110 mrs- wilson was also in charge of a skit trom sorrow to joy with mrs frank j buddell mrs lew sampson mrs william mcpherson ahd mrs wilfrid bird taking parts an easter poem was read by mrs sampson and mrs boy wilson read a story one solitary life mrs john wallace was in eharge of a skit peter and john at the tomb with mrs sampson and mrs wilson tak ing part the devotional hour was closed with tiymn 08 fol lowed with prayer by mrs sampson during the business period the minutes of the previous meeting were read by mrs vern picket and the treasurers re port given by mrs charlie aus- ttn the daffodil luncheon will be held on may 1st the sewing circle meeting was changed to april 16th with a full day of quilting on hand with a potluck dinner to be held at noon dr robert mcclure will be the guest speaker at the service to be held on april 27 lunch was served by the starlight group and a social hour enjoyed the response for used cloth ing for save the children fund of india was very successful ith a special thanks to the jurfldrajulsenlor 4h clubs of hornby norttjwholdld some mending on some of trieelollv tag the boys car club the surchcrs which includes local boys were also a great help the clothing was delivered to oakville by glen lister bob bonham and johnny saunders the seventh meeting of hhe hornby north kjtton kilties was held on saturday march 29th at the north trafalgar community centre the meet ing was
