roast beef and all the trimmings was ser ved at the completion of the games vice president al hep burn of branch 31 thanked dave and his help for the meal and remarked how unique it was to see the men of a branch taking over the kitchen chores and per forming them so successfully during the dance which fol lowed vice president bruce collins presented the visiting president doug grant and his lady with a carving set and a bouquet of roses was presented to mrs grant by mrs bruce collins a prize for the senior visit ing lady and gentleman was al so presented by bruce the rec ipients were mrs dewitts auction sale on satur day the dewitts have sold their farm and have purchased a home in eden mills they will be missed in the nehchbo hut much happiness is wished for them in the new community to which they will be going shortly sirs jesse mcenery was a delegate from the bauinafad branch of the wx and spent 2 days last week at the officers conference held at the univer sity of guelph there were delegates there from all over ontario representing different branches of the womens insti tute miss lillian shortill of toron to spent the weekend at toe home of her parents mr and- mrs richard shortill sr little douglas kayes who makes his home with his aunu mrs ray swindlehurst under went surgery in st josephs hospital last week mr delmar french and miss lillian shortill wrote their fir 1
