When I started working for the Halton Regional Police after amalgamation in early 1970’s, one of the senior officers I recall was Walter Southward.
The side profile appears to be a strong resemblance to Southward. I never did know what police service he started with before amalgamation but I understand that Oakville originally amalgamated with Oakville prior to the 70’s.
It would be nice to put a name to this officer in the picture if anyone can confirm if Southward originally worked for Trafalgar Township prior to the amalgamations.
