Brendon Prevost, 4, of Sixth Line, Georgetown, had just gotten out of his mother's car when another vehicle swerved in an attempt to avoid a collision. Prevost was struck as he stood in front of his mother's car, and was thrown into a ditch by the impact. Prevost was transported to The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto where he was treated for broken bones in his legs and arms as well as serious internal and head injuries.
