The team jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead againsta never say die Brampton squad, and settled for a 5-3 win after a AA novice Raiders keep on battling The AA Major Novice Raid- ers dropped a tight defensive battle to the visiting Brampton Maroons 1-0 re- cently despite the strong goaltending by Jordan White. The team played strong defensive hockey in front of him led by Michael Clarizio, Ryan Torres, Corey Colarassi and Kevin Greer, however they were unable to put the puck in the net. A visiting Burlington team then came to town and were able to earn a point after ty- ing the game with less than a minute to go in the third pe- riod. Michael Carter and Alex Ingrangaro scored first pe- riod goals for Georgetown as the teams went to the locker room tie after one. Burling- ton then came out fast in the second period opening up a two goal lead, which stood until the third period. Corey Curtlen, Ingrangaroand Kyle Oliver scored third period goals to give the Raiders the lead until late in the game. Thomas Stokes notched the lone Raiders goal off a nice pass from Dan Walinga. In Brampton , the Fitzwhiskeys still suffering from the flu, never really got on track.
