If you see people clicking with joy and snap- ping with anticipation in your neighbourhood, don't panic --just buy some film and join in the fun of Photoart '97. The Halton Hills Camera Club extends an invitation to all Halton Hills residents and club members to search the town and their own files for the images that will be en- tered into the 17th annual juried Photoart competition. This year the selected photo- graphs will be exhibited in the Halton Hills Library and Cultural Centre gallery from March 5 to 29. Everyone is invited to attend the official opening and awards presen- tation from 7 to 9 pm, March 5. There are many catego- ties available for both black and white and colour prints, including people, foliage, abstracts and architecture. A complete list of Photoart cat- egories and entry rules is on the back of the Photoart flyer that can be found in local camera shops, the Civic Cen- tre and the Cultural Centre.
