Lavallee's unassisted marker made it 3-0, but A & S's Jessy Kuenzig scored the first of his two goals to make it 4-1 head- ing into the final period. Michael McKeon's un- assisted goal early in the third period made it 5-1, and Bennett's second goal of the game made it 6-I for Best. Gordon McKeon then found the net late in the third period with help from Bennett and Carscadden. Starting with the Acton © Youth Bowling Council, con- gratulations go out to all the Four Steps to Stardom win- ners who are off to the Regionals taking place Feb. 21, 22 and March 1 in Streetsville, Brampton and Georgetown. In the Adult League, the King and Queen of the Lanes (most improved bowlers) for January go to Sue Poulsen with a +8 and Gord Corcoran with a + 10. Both bowlers are from the first shift of the Fri- day Night Mixed League. Our turkey winner for January is Frank Thompson of the Golden Agers League. Stephen Van Helden also scored for Town Milk and assists went to Jesse Steenhuis, Kyle Hamilton and Kyle . Town Milk Coach Shawn Sampson said the squad showed great team playing. Both Mark Wells and Thomas Pottruff found the net twice for Denny's while teammate Danielle Coo had a single and Kevin was credited with an assist. Coach Harry Reinders said MacMillan's was out shot in the first half while Acton Veterinary scored six ofits goals. MacMillan's was strong in the second half but just couldn't make up the deficit. UNDER-13 Acton Musicland squeaked out a 3-2 win over Bev Gray and Associates in Under-13 Indoor Soccer ac- tion on Saturday at MSB. Thomas Ferrier led the scoring for Musicland while teammate Derek Thomas found the net twice. Rachel Turner is also credited with strong play for Musicland. Lisa Robson and Tanya Pereira scored Bev Gray's two markers while the whole team put ina good effort and Robson and Daniel aa playeda strong: game in goal.
