Pitcher Adam Burgess threw seven strikeouts and made three outs with pick-offs at first over four innings. Reliefer Jamie McGhie fared well with five strikeouts in two innings. Kyla Strahl led the way in the 11-12 girls' category with a bronze medal in 100 free and a 4th in 50 free. She also placed 3rd in the 100 back and 7th in 200 back in the consolation finals. Teammate Meghan Colvin earned a 4th in the 200 breast and a Sth in the 100 breast. The two girls broke their own club records in the 100 free and 200 breast respectively. Personal best times for the year were swum by Alicia Roza and Daniel Charland. Coach Gerry Ockenden said he was pleased with the sea- son on a whole. "We are always looking for new swimmers," he said. "We always like to think the next season will be more exciting than the one before."
