Regional Chairman Joyce . Savoline has stepped up the pressure on the Harris Gov- ernment to exempt the Re- gion of Halton from Bill 79- the government's proposed municipal property tax leg- islation. Savoline also expressed disappointment in the Min- ister of Finance's unwilling- ness to meet with her, despite tepeated promises from his staff that he would sit down Carleton to discuss their unique circumstances.
