DEALER Bayfield grading problems unresolved BY MAGGIE PETRUSHEVSKY Some Acton residents living in new houses built by Bayfield Homes are still not getting their gradingproblems resolved.Representatives of the group, Perry, Stuckless and Judy Spear told councillors they want a solution that will 'give them the maximum usable backyards. Other solutions the developer has attempted were done without either consulta- tion or information to the affected homes' owners. They have proven ineffective. The retaining walls Bayfield built to support the inappropri- ately graded yards are unsafe and must be replaced, Stuckless said. Both speakers complained that residents are not being kept in- formed of efforts to correct the problems they have been bat- tling for the past two years. At the insistence of Coun. Spear and Stuckless will be included in a meeting between Bayfield rep- Bryan Lewis, resentatives and town staff on- Wednesday.
