It was the fifth meeting of the season between Hespeler and Acton, Acton has won all five, by a combined score of 47-4. Jesse Hill stopped all four Hespeler shots to record his second shut-out of the season. Clayton Black had the hat-trick for Acton, as did Roger Kirkness. Other scorers were Eric Butson (2G), Mitchell Brake (2G 2A), Dylan Britton (G A), Jon 'Porty (G A), Tyler Christopher (G 2A), Jeff Curry (2A), Adam Duval (A) and Holden Carachi (A). Acton hosted Erin on the 9", having lost 4-3 and 8- 1 in the teams two previous meetings. But this time Colton Wiens led the Tanners to a 5-3 victory, as he made numerous good saves in stopping twelve Erin shots. Acton won despite being being outshot 15-12. Eric Butson had two goals for Acton, : the others were scored by Mitchell Brake, Jeff Curry and Charlie Browes. Assists went to Browes, Curry, Brake, Wyatt Martin, Holden Carachi, Roger Kirkness (2), Clayton Black and Kirin Rice. The team is off to a tournament on_ the weekend, it is an 'A' rated tournament that Acton's Atom I team could enter, so it should be a severe test for the AE team. Novice Tanners trounce Elora, Guelph, drop one to Hespeler The Carquest Acton / Nellis Construction Novice BB Tanners won two of their three games on the weekend. They started off the week with a 12-2 thrashing of Elora on the 6". Coach Tim Baker juggled his lines, the new line of Bradley Bollert, Ryan Dunlevy and Walter Kirkness combined for eight of the 12 goals, with Dunlevy scoring five of them.
