McMahon comes to the Halton Catholic District School Board with a wealth of management and financial accounting experience in both private industry and public sector organizations, of which 16 years were in the educational sector. Currently, he is serving as the Senior Coordinator of Finance for the Toronto Catholic District School Board, where he is responsible for the direction and supervision of the Accounting and Purchasing departments, managing the treasury function, and overseeing the risk management area. He is also responsible for planning, coordinating and executing all year-end financial reporting and audit activities. McMahon will become the third Superintendent of Business Services and Treasurer of the Halton Catholic District School Board, which was formed in 1969 through the amalgamation -- Catholic school boards.
