The Lebanese proprietors of Piccadilly Pizza not only make great pizza, they also provide wonderful Lebanese food on weekends. Four of my chil- dren have lived or travelled in the Middle East and the Medi- terranean region. They all agree that a Lebanese feast from Piccadilly is delicious. The ingredients are fresh. The food is carefully prepared. The taste is authentic and the pro- prietors could not be more accommodating. It would be a shame if this CHILI WINNERS:From the left, John Wagg, Amal Alrawdah of Piccadilly Pizza and Dave Crook were the win- ners of the Legion's annual Chili Cook off. - Jim Hayes photo interesting business left Acton because so few people realize what it has to offer. Janet Armstrong, Three dogs too many To the Editor, We have lived in Guelph/ Eramosa Township since 1996. Well, no thanks to the person who complained about my dogs. Now they find themselves on death row. The by-law says only two dogs per household and I have five. My family loves them dearly. We have been given until Dec. 15, 2003 to have only two dogs within our home. : Well, some may say, who cares. Well, I say I care a lot about my dogs and how is a family to make a decision on who stays and who has to go. The end is near for my dogs should homes not be found in time. I will have no choice but to call in a vet to have them hu- manely put down. This isn't the value I wart to teach my children and what hap- pens to everyone else that has too many dogs in this township? Well, I guess the answers are here in black /white. Find Fido a home or walk down that dark path to another world. Looking over many other cities, villages, town- ship's I have found that most say three or four dogs per household. Thad hoped when I moved to the rural area in the township that - more than two dogs were allowed. Well, I was wrong about that, wasn't I? Now Jask each person to speak out and ask the township to review their dog ownership bylaw 30/ 2000 and possibly save other fami- lies the pain of saying good-bye to their dogs.
