What a beautiful land surrounds your town. Finding work as a carpenter I was able to make ready for spring the farm's greenhouse. My work included adding a partition midway the length of the greenhouse, and fashioning a new door for the entrance. On my day off I ventured into Rockwood where I attended a church service. Later in the day I visited Acton and joined a number of ice skaters at the public session. When Israel was in captivity Arrest in Rockwood for Acton, Oakville B&Es A traffic stop by an alert officer lead to the arrest of a Toronto man who had broken into Pharma Plus in Acton and another drug store in Oakville. Halton Police said this Monday January 26, at 12:51a.m. a break and enter occurred at the Guardian Drug Store at 1235 Trafalgar Road, Oakville. The man smashed the front door and began searching _ for prescription drugs. He was unsuccessful locating the drugs, which were locked in a safe. He fled the area in a stolen vehicle At 2:39a.m. a break and enter occurred at the "Pharma Plus" drug store at 372 Queen Street in Acton. Police believe the man, was the same one who broke into the Oakville drug store, again smashing the front door to the Acton store and searching for prescription drugs. He was again unsuccessful locating prescription drugs and fled the area in a stolen vehicle. Halton Police said Sergeant Chris Lawson was patrolling the area and observed the driver of a green van acting in a suspicious ~ manner; Sgt. Lawson stopped the vehicle in Rockwood. He immediately noticed the steering column of the van was punched out. Further investigation revealed the van was stolen and the driver was responsible for both pharmacy break and enters. Charged is John Reginald Wall, age 37 of Kendall Ave. Toronto, with Break and Enter, Possession of Break In Instruments, Possession of Stolen Property and Breach of Probation x2.
