They were delivered directly to every rural household beginning the week of January 19. As of Feb. 2, rural residents of Halton Hills are now receiving roadside blue box recycling collections. Please note: rural residents of Halton Hills are still responsible for managing and disposing of their garbage. While playing darts Monday morning, the men, after a valiant effort, succumbed to the women in "301" but the men got their revenge in Baseball. All the players had a difficult time concentrating due to the laughter in the background. They have room for more players if you are interested in having a morning of fun. Our Annual General Meeting at 1:30pm on Tues., Feb. 24 is guaranteed to answer your queries. Bill Krever, past president of the OACAO and CEO of the Don Mills Foundation for Seniors Centres will be giving a talk on trends for Senior Centres. This should be of interest to all seniors. On Monday, March 1, the first breakfast meeting will be held at 9am for MIM (Men In Motion). This is open to all senior men and Clark Somerville will be the guest speaker. This is a great opportunity for our senior men to get together for only $5 each. On Tuesday, March 2 "Easy Does It Workout" will start at lpm. This workout offers a gentle combination of chair exercises, walking, stretching and circulatory exercises all set to great music. It will be each week for a six week session and costs $37 so be prepared to have lots of fun and it's great for your mind and body! Also on March 2 at 2pm, we invite our seniors who have a birthday in March to bring a guest and come to our Birthday Party and enjoy cake and ice cream.
