"Over the years, we've al- ways had fun with our Scouts partnership while at the same time helping to clean our air by planting hundreds of new trees," said Halton Regional Chair- man Joyce Savoline. "They set a great example. If each of us contributes to the environment in any way we can, such as by planting a tree, together we can make the world a healthier place." To make a difference in their community and help commemorate Arbour Day, (April 30), about 100 Halton area Scouts, aged six to 12, will participate in the day's activities, along with many of their parents. The Scouts' trees will be provided by Conservation Halton.
