Man's body found in burned-out vehicle Two men, one of them lo- cal, have been arrested and charged with first degree murder in the death of 48- year-old Brian C. Stockton of Milton whose body was discovered in a burning car off Regional Rd. 25 (High- way 25) just south of the Halton Hills boundary on 'Thursday, June 17. - Arrested are Michael James McDonough, 39, of Fourth Line, Halton Hills, and John Kevin McClatchey, 47, of Westley St., Port Credit. At approximately 12:20 a.m. on Thursday, June 17, two separate passing motor- ists alerted Halton Police and the Milton Fire Department to a car fire at the rear of Traffix, 8420 Highway 25. The car was found fully en- gulfed in flames. Once the fire was extinguished, the deceased man was located inside the car. Investigators from Halton police said the man's body was badly burned and made the process of identification difficult. An odontologist (forensic dentist) positively identified the victim as Brian C. Stockton of Milton ~ through the assistance of dental x-rays. Police were immediately suspicious of the circum- stances of the death after | preliminary search of the fire? scene discovered a second- ary scene containing pools of blood investigators believed may be related to the death of the man.
