To the Editor, I would like to thank the Halton Regional Police Association for the $4500 raised for the Autism So- ciety of Ontario / Halton Chapter on November 10, 2004 at Emma's Back Porch. With the direction of Staff Sergants Walter Bucci and Sergant Jeff Corey, a large number of volunteers from Police Services and civil- ians, all joined their efforts together to raise this money, have a good time and most of all raised the awareness of Autism to all who contrib- uted and attended. This event was fully sup- ported by the Chief of Police, Ean Algar, who attended the function himself. Part of the money raised, $500, the Halton Regional Police asked and are donat- ing it to The Randy Mogridge Memorial Fund. This was a great event that raised awareness and some - funds the ASO Halton can use for the Children's Christmas party, Soccer and Baseball during the sum- mer. Thanks to all who attend- ed. If you want to ask any questions of Walter or Jeff, they would gladly answer any you had about this event. Their number is 905-878- 5511. Any questions for me, email me or phone my cell 416-989-5253 or home 519- 853-4948.
