Margaret Neilson tells me the carpet bowling was quite exciting, and Stella Brunelle's Black team beat Eileen Dix's Brown team 20-6. They always seem to enjoy themselves. Pop in one Monday afternoon and see what all the laughter is about, plus get some much needed exercisé at the same time. The Georgetown Seniors Club has invited us to join them on Saturday afternoons from 1 to 5 p.m., for an af- ternoon of music for dancing and listening, plus singing and telling jokes. : A fun afternoon geared for adults who like good entertainment. They tell us they have a great band and a line up of entertainers who want to perform. It is at the Georgetown Seniors Club located at the rear of 318 Guelph St. in Georgetown and the cost is $5. Eight members of the se niors hiking club had a grea walk at Silver Creek Con servation area just west o Trafalgar road. They walke about 3 km. through a woode: section and had great view across the valley. Part of th walk was on the Bruce Trai and we were all impressed a the great job the Bruce Trai members have made in the up keep of the trail. The weathe was sunny and lovely.
