JS Hear how the Province sees our future Attend Halton's Forum on the Provincial Growth Management Strategy and hear about the changes the Province is recommending to how and where the Greater Golden Horseshoe will grow. Recently The Ministry of Public Infrastructure Renewal released a new draft of their Places to Grow report, a growth plan to 2031 for the Greater Golden Horseshoe area. This document speaks to how and where municipalities will grow.and addresses infrastructure and environmental impacts. Representatives of the Province will be on hand to present the draft Growth Plan and you will have an opportunity to provide some initial feedback. The Province has provided us with a short turnaround time to submit feedback, however we would like to provide as many opportunities as possible within that timeframe to hear your comments. Halton's website has also been set up to receive input and provides a link to the Ministry's draft report. Click on 'Provincial Growth Plan' at www.region.halton.on.ca.
