Silent auction for ailing boy George Kennedy Public School is hosting a scrap booking fund-raiser and silent auction at the school on Saturday, Jan. 28, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. All proceeds raised will be donated to the Pearson family whose son Zach has been battling leukemia for the past five months. During the event the public is invited to come and check out the Silent Auction and Raffle Tables. One of the auction items is a dinner for four with Mayor Rick Bonnette, and has been graciously donated by 77 Market St. There are over $4,000 in items generated from local businesses for the auction and draws. As well there is a good assortment of prizes at the Raffle Table including a kids raffle table, that they can enter to win at a lower cost.
