Independent candidate Mike Wisniewski placed fourth with 43 votes beating Liberal Rod Finnie who received 38 votes. Christian Heritage Party candidate Carolann Krusky received one vote. Polls close at 9:30 p.m. Voters will have 12 hours to cast their ballots on Monday. Polls open at 9:30 a.m. and will close at 9:30 p.m. Chong tops students' vote And the winner is Mike Chong-- according to Acton High School students who voted in a mock federal election earlier this week. Wellington Halton-Hills Conservative candidate Chong earned 34 per cent of the popular vote from students at the school, or 191 votes overall. Monday forecast is good The weather is expected to co-operate on election day with Environment Canada calling for a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 0C and a low of -2C. Police blotter Police investigating break-in at school Halton Police are investigating a break and enter into George Kennedy Public School sometime over the weekend. A window was broken and a screen was removed to gain entry into a classroom. Police say the door of the classroom was locked so the culprit(s) could not get any further into the school. Nothing was taken.
