GDHS hosts Grade 8 open house The Grade 8 Open House has been rescheduled to next Tuesday, Feb. 7 at Georgetown District High School (GDHS). All current Grade 8 students, their parents and siblings are invited to attend this event showcasing the many excellent programs offered at GDHS. Pizza and pop will be available in the library foyer at 5:30 p.m., School spots open Gary Allan High School's alternative programs, STEP and TEAM still have spaces available for the upcoming second semester. STEP offers high school courses for students over the age of 16; both morning and afternoon classes are offered. The TEAM program is for pregnant teens and young mothers wishing to continue working on their high school credits. Childcare assistance is available.
