VON hosts Chocolate Lovers Brunch VON Halton's Second Annual Chocolate Lovers Brunch takes place on Sunday, February 12 at the Glen Abbey Golf Club beginning at 10:30 a.m. Proceeds from the Valentine's event benefits vital community charitable services, including Alzheimer services, Volunteer Support services and the People in Crisis program. This year's Valentine celebration features plenty of highlights, including a gala brunch, decadent dessert buffet complete with a chocolate fondu fountain sponsored by Purdy's Chocolates, and live entertainment by the Elvis Tribute Artist duo, Wayne Zess and two-year-old Chase Funston. Guests will also enjoy bidding on silent auction items and unique raffle prizes, including a "Wheelbarrow of Wine" valued at over $500. Tickets cost $65 and tables of 10 can be reserved.
