Submitted photo ATHLETES of the Week CHRIST THE KING ACTON GEORGETOWN DISTRICT DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL HIGH SCHOOL Brigitte Babin Breanna Campbell Chandra Massey Vince Schaljo Cameron Shortt Rob Stuart Acton High School Athletes of the Week are Breanna Campbell and Cameron Shortt. Campbel, a winger on the Bearcats girls hockey team was chosen for her improved play throughout her four years at AHS. Shortt, a member of the Bearcats track team was selected for his seventh place in the midgets 1000 metre event at the Nike Adams Meet. Georgetown District High School Athletes of the Week are Rebel swim team members Rob Stuart and Chandra Massey, who had excellent results at the recent OFSAA championships in Etobicoke. Stuart, a Grade 9 student, helped the junior boys' 4x200m medley relay team place fifth in the province and he finished 10th in the 200m freestyle. First-year senior Massey was part of the bronze-medal-winning Rebel 200m medley relay squad at OFSAA, and she also competed in the 100m IM and 100m breaststroke. Christ the King High School Athletes of the Week are Brigitte Babin and Vince Schaljo, members of the Jaguar mixed curling team that placed ninth at the provincial championship tournament last week in Oshawa, along with teammates Graeme Owens and Meghan Halverson. Schaljo, his rink's skip, was also named to the tourney allstar team.
