Bullets to begin practice sessions at Centennial May 8 The Bullets Track & Field Club welcomes youths from Grades 2-8 to take part in its practice sessions, which run on Mondays from May 8 until July. Sprints, long-distance running, throwing, jumping and crosscountry running are events that the club trains for. Both are members of the Bearcats senior ladies doubles badminton team, and were chosen for their third place finish at the Haltons. Georgetown District High School Athletes of the Week are Katherine Langstaff and Kaitlyn Irwin. Both are members of the Rebels senior ladies doubles badminton team and were recognized for finishing first at the Halton sectionals. Christ the King Athletes of the Week are the mixed badminton team consisting of Christina Bruno and Jadon Veldman. The Jaguar duo finished seventh at a recent tournament at E.C. Drury and qualified for this week's Halton championships at that same Milton school.
