DEATHS COLLIER, William James - Peacefully on Wednesday July 5th, 2006 at Sunnybrook Veterans Hospital, Toronto, in his 95th year. Husband of the late Edith Ridley. Dear father of John (Carol), Jeanette, Joanne (George) Crabtree, Joe (Darlene) and father-in-law of John Collins. Predeceased by his daughter Susan Collins. Loved grandfather of Janet, Christopher, Michael, Heidi, Brian, Janey, Jaime, Sarah, Michelle, Rick and Amanda. Proud great grandfather of Taylor Fife and Dylan Lamont. Son of Joseph and Alice Collier and predeceased by his brothers Mark and Godfrey and sisters Isabelle Davison and Mary Hodgson. Sgt. Wm. J. Collier served overseas for 5 years during WWII with the Lorne Scots. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown (905-877-3631) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Monday July 10th at 11 am. O'FLAHERTY, John Francis (Frank) - Died suddenly at home in Montreal, Quebec on June 28th, 2006 at the age of 76 years. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Nee Stavina), children, Cathy, Brian (Chris Coriaty), Jim (Marie Verville) and David (Karina Gehring). Also surviving are his eight grandchildren, Caitlin, Mark, Brent, Andrew, Shawn, Ceara, Maegan and Tessa. Surviving siblings are Margaret of Georgetown, ON, Ray (Nancy) of Bowmanville, ON, Kevin (Gail) of St. Catherines, ON, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Herb and Winnifred O'Flaherty, and by his sister Nora, all of St. Catherines, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. A private funeral service will be held. Frank retired from a long career with the Kruger Pulp and Paper Company, working in the mill at Trois Rivieres and also in the Montreal Office.
