For the third consecutive year, Bruce Pattison of Silvercreek has hosted his own unique Olympic Games, pitting two teams of retirees against each other in physical contests of concentration, teamwork and endurance. The hometown Silvercreek team battled the opposing St. Catharines team in such events as the potty shot putt, toilet tissue toss, tossing the turd, the ducky ring toss and the paddle boat relay. The grand finale saw the hometown Silvercreek favourites cross the line to victory in the inflatable boat race category, which was followed by the water balloon battle.
