Classic weekend Michelle Vandal (left) of Milton took Shrunk in the Wash over the jumps in the small hunter pony class at Halton Place during the two-week long Canadian Country Classic Horse show at Halton Place on 15 Sideroad. In addition to hundreds of horses competing, the show also featured unique attractions like a U.S. Civil War reenactment group, representing Company A of the 9th New York Cavalry, who set up camp on the grounds. Re-enactment soldiers Chris Weiss (left) and Gary Glaser enjoyed chatting while civilian Corrin Harris tended to the fire at their camp. For more see page 26.
