The eight-year-old came home with four first places and one third. The competition included many other dancers from across Canada and the world including the U.S., Scotland and Australia. Needless to say, Sarah was very ecstatic with her results. She now competes in the Novice category this season. Sarah began dancing at the age of three after SARAH USHERWOOD attending the Georgetown Highland Games with her family and meeting Sharon Casey, the director of the school. Sarah says her goal for this season is, "To move up to Intermediate and compete in the Canadian Championships in New Brunswick in July 2007."
