In their opening contest of the VVS event, the Rebels downed Guelph's J.F. Ross 65-44 as Olinoski scored 19 points. Georgetown now has a 17-3 overall record this season after a couple of other exhibition contests this week at the University of Western Ontario in London. Olinoski topped the scoresheet with 21 points and Neumann sealed the win with a late basket. In game two at Western, Georgetown dropped a 43-39 decision to Windsor Catholic Central. The Rebels are 6-0 in the Halton AAAA senior boys' league and host Christ the King's Jaguars on Monday beginning at 3:30 p.m. They're also entered in a topflight tournament at St. Michael's College in Toronto Jan. 12-13, where Georgetown will take on the province's number-one-ranked team, the Henry Carr Crusaders. Future Stars to square off here next week Continued from pg. 14 Burlington's Cory Conacher and Milton's David Vallorani, along with goaltender Kori Coelho from the first-place Oakville Blades. Sixteen-year-old Stouffville Spirit forward Corey Trivino has already commited to Boston University and is among the North Division's top rookie scorers. "This won't be like your typical all-star game, because these kids are trying to get noticed and want to impress the scouts any way they can," said Bob Hooper of Georgetown, commissioner of the OPJAHL for the past 10 years. The 80-or-so players will be fed meals during their stay here and get to keep their jerseys as mementos. A booster club will be open throughout the evening. This year's OPJAHL All-Star Game will be held Wednesday, Jan. 24 in Markham. Rosters have yet to be announced. (Eamonn Maher can be reached at emaher@independentfreepress.com)
