Entry week starts Monday for PhotoArt 2007 Halton Hills Camera Club, organizer of the largest photo contest in Halton Hills, calls all photo enthusiasts to gather up their images for PhotoArt 2007. This annual juried exhibition of print images salutes the art of Halton Hills photographers, both amateur and professional. Entries will be accepted February 12 to February 17. PhotoArt 2007 is open to all residents of Halton Hills and to Halton Hills Camera Club members. It includes children's and adult categories. Children may enter up to three 4 X 6 inch unmounted colour prints, any subject, in two age categories: a) 8 years and under b) 9 to 14 years. Adults may enter up to 11 prints in nine categories with a maximum of three prints in one category. · People, Creatures and Critters has two divisions: Colour or Black & White · Foliage and Flowers has two divisions: Colour or Black & White · Objects and Abstracts has two divisions: Colour or Black & White · Scenery and Architecture has two divisions: Colour or Black & White · Creative Digital is a single division. Creative Digital is an original image produced by the photographer, manipulated through digital imaging software to design a creative original. Adult entries must be mounted on white foam core with a 2 inch border, with no matting or marking on the surface of the mount. Image size may range from a minimum 5 X 7 inches to a maximum of 16 X 20 inches.
