Longtime companions seek new home together JUDITH-ANNE KOLU Upper Credit Humane Society Shakes and Casey are lifelong companions and are inseparable and must go to a permanent home together. Shakes is a seven-year-old neutered male Dalmation and his beloved Casey is an eight-year-old female Sheltie Collie cross. This adorable duo would be happiest in a quiet adult home. Shakes is extremely affectionate, loving people and attention while Casey is more self possessed, and acts like the "lady" she is. Both are clean in their kennels and housebroken. Casey is definitely the leading force of this duo and that is quite alright with Shakes. Are you looking for easier canine companionship? Here it is... these friendly dogs are "low maintenance", cautious around strangers but on repeated encounters very loving and fun. As they are middle aged they enjoy the simple things in life... the luxury of a warm, comfortable bed... adult human company, plenty of hugs and Pet of the Month kisses and flopping by a fire movie watching or just plain old "hanging out". Going "walkies" is another pleasure they both enjoy and the sight of them playing "fetch" running together side by side certainly brings a smile to your face. A certain amount of their emotional needs are met by each other and Casey is a forward thinking lady who doesn't mind that her beau is a a year younger than herself and Shakes is totally enamoured with his lady Casey. Their love for each other is contagious... and they are hoping it will catch YOU! Call them at UCHS Shelter 519833-2287 to have a "meet and greet". more walks and attention; the cats love being petted and groomed...anything you can do for them will be gratefully received.
