Two teams from St. Catherine of Alexandria excelled at the Halton Engineering Challenge. Schools from both Halton school boards entered the competition that fostered an interest in science and technology with a focus on engineering. The two St. Catherine teams worked hard over two months to complete their robotic arms and produce presentations in front of the judges-- professional engineers and engineering students from McMaster University. The local school won gold and silver. With their medals, in back, (from left), Ryan Kohler, Andree Colangelo, Blake Noonan (all on gold team) and in front (from left) Jayme Krane (gold team), Michelle Seedhouse (silver team), Maren Wozniak (silver team).
