An 11-9 loss in Barrie on Sunday night brought the Bulldogs back to the .500 mark after they had set a franchise record by shutting out the Cornwall Celtics in Acton on Saturday 19-0. Goalie Colton Horan played the full 60 minutes and didn't concede a goal for the first shutout in the team's history. Yet the Halton Hills side trails first-place Mimico (6-0), Oakville (5-01) and Mississauga (4-1-1) in the OLA's South East Division and all three of its losses came after they held leads heading into the third period. "So close, but yet so far," said Bulldogs' GM Mike Hancock. "I hate to use a cliché like that but we really are that close. The silver lining is I know these guys will work through it and begin to string together 60 minutes. With the work ethic they have shown through camp, I know it's going to come along sooner rather than later."
