The Jubilee begins at 11 a.m. each day with lobby entertainment where audience members can dance to live bands, sing along with choirs, and enjoy the antics of wandering minstrels. Then at 1 p.m. the musical variety show gets under way with everything from ballroom to vaudeville, comedy to cabaret and tango to tap. Graham started singing at the age of three Georgetown's Graham selected to join RBC Seniors Jubilee cast when she won a gold medal at the Peel Festival. Graham also performed at the Limelight Supper Club and at a dinner theatre she co-owned with her husband. Now semi-retired, she is devoting more time to singing. The lineup of performers include Dick Joiner, Don Harron, Billy Newton-Davis, Johnny Toronto, Peter Shaw, Gael Force Dancers and ballroom dance champions. A farce, written by two of Britain's greatest comedy writers, John Chapman and Dave Freeman, Key For Two is full of situations that are disastrous for the participants, but hilarious for the audience. A farce always has a victim who gets deeper and deeper into trouble as the problems mount. Harriet has a secret, and she keeps it very skilfully until an accident in the kitchen, and the arrival of several unexpected, and in most cases, unwelcome guests throws her plans awry. Soon everyone is pretending to be someone else, most have something to hide, and the confusion builds until it seems impossible to avert a catastrophe. The hectic finale brings a surprise twist, and one of the best closing scenes in comedy. The play runs August 1525, with matinees on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and evening performances on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. There will be no evening performance on Thursday, Aug. 23, due to a private performance. Tickets are $22-$27, including all taxes and charges, and can be reserved by calling the box office at 519-855-4586. AT CEDARVALE PARK AFTER THE MARCH!!
