"Hansel and Gretel," presented by the Canadian Opera Company Ensemble, takes place Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. A wicked witch, two feisty children, a gingerbread house and plenty of excitement will be in store as Canada‘s renowned opera company presents Humperdinck‘s classical work in a show for the whole family. On Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. Young People‘s Theatre goes "In Search of Dragon‘s Mountain." Children‘s Centre starts series Pulling stuff out of his Yucky Bag was only part of local actor/entertainer Jim Paris‘ perforâ€" mances at St. Bernadette‘s School recently. Paris was on hand to help teach students safety through music, song and a series of interactive lessons. "It‘s fun. It‘s not lecture time," he says.
