Feb. 10th. Candidates‘ Night â€" to be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Oakville Library Auditorium â€" will give the four candidates seeking the Liberal Party nomination an opportunity to meet party members and members of the public. The four candidates are Mohan Anand, David Bazar, Bonnie Brown and Bruce Hood. Advantage A Proud Sponsor supporting Sarah on her voyage On our first day in the port of Bridgetown, Barbados, we were given shore leave for the whole day. Everyone was very excited since this was our first Englishâ€"speaking port since Louisbourg back in Canada! It was very strange to overhear people‘s conversations and to be able to understand what they were saying. We all ate our fill of North American fast food from the local KFC and spent the rest of the day wandering around and shopping. That evening we went to a dance club where there was a live band playing very good reggae. The next day we took a bus to Harrison‘s Caves. We rode through the caves on an electric tour bus. This form of transport was required by a regulation designed to prevent damage to the formations by the gas emission from regular engines. The caves were rmations of stalagmites and stalactites. That afternoon we visited a beach for our Marine Biology project. The water and sand were great. While snorkeling, we saw an abundance of fish of an amazing variety of colour, shape and size. In the evening we were given a tour of the Naval Coast Guard Station. It was really interesting. We saw where they work on and build the ships, and some of the technical rooms. Then we were given a tour of one of their ships. We saw many things that we could readily identify with after living on the Concordia, such as posted steward duties, cramped cabins, galley, etc. The Barbados Coast Guard has a major task combating drug smugglers. The next morning we set sail for Tobago. Each office independently owned and operated. . $45.9180 ............... ......... February‘s meeting will be the first time that all four candidates have appeared in public together. To date, the candidates, who have been busy lining up supporters over the last several weeks, have had only informal contact with party members and members of the public. The Candidates‘ Night is a leadâ€"up Liberal candidates night Wednesday to the riding association‘s nomination meeting, when party members will choose a candidate to represent the Oakvilleâ€"Milton riding. The successful candidate will face incumbent Oakvilleâ€"Miltion MP Otto Jelinek, the federal Revenue Minister, in the next federal election.
