Charles Kaufman, dean at the New York City conservatory, made the announcement. Buckland awarded scholarship Sonia Panesar finds herself in "Who Are You," White Oaks Secondary School‘s entry in the District level of this year‘s Sears Drama Festival. The school will present the play â€" an original work Buckland, 26, is one of 230 undergraduate and graduate stuâ€" dents at Mannes chosen from 22 states and 25 countries through auditions held in Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York. The local musician is the daughâ€" ter of Russell and Sonja Buckland by cast mmebers and a taecher â€" Feb. 26 at Burlington Central High School. Also on the bill that night are L.B. Pearson and Lord Elgin. Founded in 1916, The Mannes College of Music is considered one of America‘s foremost conservatoâ€" ries.
